Service Metrics not being exporter #757

Not sure why but on two hosts I am setting up the exporter on, they do not export any service metrics.

Checked on the :9182/metrics too and see nothing.

I've just attempted this on a newly-installed Windows Server 2019 image, but can't reproduce the issue.

config.yml:

collectors:
  enabled: cpu,cs,logical_disk,net,os,service,system,textfile,process,iis
collector:
  service:
    services-where: Name='windows_exporter'
log:
  level: debug
scrape:
  timeout-margin: 0.5
telemetry:
  addr: ":9183"
  path: "/metrics"
  max-requests: 5

Running windows_exporter v0.16.0:

.\windows_exporter.exe --config.file=config.yml

Could you provide the OS version and any debug output from the exporter?

Thanks for getting back. Windows Server 2016 Standard (1607) image

I do see time="2021-04-19T14:04:54+01:00" level=debug msg="collector service succeeded after 0.167997s." source="exporter.go:209"

in the CMD prompt and I see that it sees that Service metrics are enabled but when I go to the /metrics output there is nothing regarding services

Services need to be specified like this. Documentation not very clear.

---
# Note this is not an exhaustive list of all configuration values
collectors:
  enabled: cpu,cs,logical_disk,net,os,service,system,textfile,iis,process
collector:
  service:
    services-where: Name='SessionServer' OR Name='GeoService' OR Name='DistMan' OR Name='ActiveMQ'
log:
  level: debug
scrape:
  timeout-margin: 0.5
telemetry:
  addr: ":9182"
  path: /metrics
  max-requests: 5

Could you specify what was changed? If the documentation's unclear it would be best to improve it.
